- Our group liked this blog becasue it seemed to have relevance for our class. Fittness is what the majority of us focus on either with our majors or our lifestyles. There were multiple ads that were on the side of the blog that were selling fitness equipment and clothing that most people would tend to workout in. Having this blog be so relevant to us creates pathos for us as readers because we are tied to what the blog is talking about because so many college students, adults, and people in general in America are looking for ways to get fit in a healthy way.

- This blog is relevant to anyone who wants to stay in shape, or wants more information about staying healthy. Through the appeal to being fit the blog applies to us emotionally as readers. The commercials on the side add to the appeal by relating to different aspects of wellness. This blog also contains logos in the facts given to be healthy. It supports its claims with some evidence along with scientific information. Overall this blog is relevant to anyone who is interested in being healthy by providing factual information in many different topics.

- Being a Sport and Wellness Scholar really factored into our group picking this blog. Fitness is something that should be realative to all people, not just our scholars group. This blog shows some signs of pathos because it relates to emotional things, such as the article that relates to telling your wife/girlfriend that she needs to lose weight, without being physically abused.

Our blog group chose http://collegetimes.us/ to present for our blog project. College Times is a blog on which anyone can publish, particularly college students or affiliates. The blog’s pathos is directed toward college students. Numerous practical postings covering a variety of topics can be found on the site. Alerts, news, politics, entertainment, art, science, health, tech, and finance are all areas of interest with multiple postings referring to each specific subject area. A picture accompanies each posting and the block layout of the site makes it easy to maneuver.
We chose College Times as our group blog because of its pathos, or relation to its audience. This blog has much to offer for college students, freshman in particular. From “Things to Think About Before Sophomore Year” to “Poverty: WTF is it?” a wide variety of interest areas are covered. Whether looking for humor, college reviews, or just random information related to college life, chances are you will find it on College Times. Check it out!

Our group chose to share http://www.elevenwarriors.com/, an Ohio State sports blog. We chose Eleven Warriors because it is one of the most popular blogs about a common interest practically all of us share: Ohio State football and basketball. The authors of Eleven Warriors do a good job of frequently providing new posts. Some posts are meant to be informative while others aim to be funny from the perspective of Buckeyes fans.
We also chose Eleven Warriors because of the way it demonstrates ethos and pathos, two concepts we have discussed in class. The content of the blog is definitely aimed to an audience of Buckeye fans. It is strongly opinionated and cannot be considered an objective source. This contributes to the pathos of the blog by making it appeal to Ohio State fans. The blog's presentation is also appealing to this audience because of the repetition of the colors scarlet and gray. The site claims to have no affiliation with The Ohio State University. Its credibility comes from the duration and popularity of the blog. Advertisements for tickets and OSU apparel on the blog target Buckeye fans.
